Sadha created her debut with 'Jayam' in Telugu as well as identical flick continues to be remade as 'Jayam' with Jayam Ravi which was a blockbuster hit in the box-office.She once again paired with Vikram in 'Anniyan' directed by Shankar which gave her fame and identify. She entered into Bollywood to check out her luck and she shared the display area in Like Khichdi & Click which fell flat in the box-office as well as call sheet of these flicks also prolonged for quite some time that she ended up losing many offers from Kollywood and Tollywood. She couldnt accept any new offers as she was entitled to complete these flicks.Sadha is making a re-entry into Kollywood with Puli Vesham. She has three flicks in her kitty which inclusdes Hindi film Kalpaali, Mallari in Kannada and Thunda Thundi in Malayalam
Southern actress Sada, who quit Kannada film industry after some bad experience while working in 'Mohini', makes a comeback with director R. Chandru's 'Mylari'.I had decided to return to Kannada films as many people told me that one bad experience should be well forgotten and I should look forward for some good offers like 'Monalisa',' said Sada.I had earlier heard a good script from director Shashank, but things did not fall into place even after I gave my nod to work in the film. And now comes this offer. 'Mylari' is essentially a really like story. My character is really good. The role will give me a lot of opportunity to be expressive,' added the actress who has also signed Tamil film 'Pulivesham'.Sada gave a string of hits in Tamil like 'Anniyan' and 'Unnale Unnale'.She also tried her luck in Hindi films with 'Click', but it didn't do well on the box workplace. So now she is focusing on southern movies.
The actress is shooting for Kannada film Mallikarjuna and her Tamil flick Pulivesam will release next year. She built her debut in Tollywood, but she’s not doing any Telugu film as she isn’t happy with the offers. Sadha’s scared to experiment with female-oriented scripts if it comes from a new director and new production house. “Then the entire responsibility falls on you. You won’t know if the film will be promoted well. If I’m offered such a film from a good production house, then I’ll do it,” she adds. Her skepticism comes from her previous experiences too. “I did a Hindi film called Adore Kicchdi, but it wasn’t promoted well,” says Sadha, who’d enjoy to play a role that would push her beyond her comfort level. “Playing a mentally or physically challenged character or a psycho would enable me to do that,” she adds. This damsel from Maharashtra, loves travelling as part of her job. Sadha, who comes from a mixed family background, says, “My mom is Maharashtrian and my father is Muslim.”
Remember Sada, who sizzled in films like Anniyan? the slim and tall beauty could be one of the two heroines of ‘Puli Vesham’, a film directed by veteran director P. Vasu in which industrialist-turned-actor RK) plays the lead role. Search is on for the other heroine, sources said. P. Vasu was said to be keen to work with Sada right from ‘Chandramukhi’ days. When the director approached her for Chandramukhi, Sada couldn’t accommodate her dates for him as she was busy shooting for Shankar’s ‘Anniyan’ plus the role eventually went to Jyothika. Once again, when Vasu tried to cast Sada for ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ (the Kannada sequel to Chandramukhi), it didn’t work out due to some unavoidable reasons. When Vasu approached Sada for the third time for the heroine’s role in ‘Puli Vesham’ opposite RK, the svelte actress reportedly agreed happily to play the heroine.Sada, who stole many a heart with her paavadai-dhaavani costume in ther debut vehicle 'Jayam' opposite ‘Jeyam’ Ravi, later shone bright in 'Anniyan' and 'Priyasakhi' and has recently managed to set her feet in Bollywood too.
